Ziyad ibn Ilaqah reported from his uncle — who was Qutbah ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) — that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from reprehensible character, deeds, and desires." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith.

Guarding against reprehensible things and the call to hold fast to noble character and righteous deeds. That morals in Islam are fixed and do not change with the changing of interests and desires, as is the case in corrupt Western societies.
