عَنْ أنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَا مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُظْلِمَةٍ وَمَعَهُمَا مِثْلُ الْمِصبَاحَيْنِ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمَا، فَلَمَّا افتَرَقَا صَارَ مَعَ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا وَاحِدٌ حَتَّى أَتَى أَهْلَهُ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ مِنْ طُرُقٍ؛ وَفِي بَعْضِهَا: أَنَّ الرَّجُلَيْنِ أُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ، وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that two men from among the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on a dark night, and with them was something like two lamps before them. When they parted, one [lamp] went with each of them until he reached his family. Reported by al-Bukhari through several chains; in some of them: the two men were Usayd ibn Hudayr and Abbad ibn Bishr (may Allah be pleased with them both).

كرامة هذين الصحابيين، ومعجزة النّبيّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم، لأنّ ما ظهر بين أيديهما من النور من بركة إيمانهم بالنّبيّ صلّى اللّهُ عليه وسلّم. إعانة اللّه تعالى لمن خرج لأداء الفرائض، والقيام بحق اللّه سبحانه.
The karamah of these two Companions, and a miracle of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), for the light that appeared before them was from the blessing of their faith in the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Allah the Exalted's aid for whoever goes out to fulfill the obligatory duties and to uphold the right of Allah (Glorified is He).
