عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ وَقَاهُ اللّهُ شَرَّ مَا بَيْنَ لَحْيَيْهِ، وَشَرَّ مَا بَيْنَ رِجْلَيْهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ» رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah protects from the evil of what is between his jaws and the evil of what is between his legs will enter Paradise." Reported by al-Tirmidhi, who said: a hasan (good) hadith.
الشرح · explanation
وقاه اللّه: حماه وحفظه. ما بين لحييه: لسانه. ما بين رجليه: فرجه.
"Allah protects him": Allah guards and preserves him. "What is between his jaws": his tongue. "What is between his legs": his private parts.

المحافظة على ضبط اللسان بعدم إطلاقه بما لا يُرضي اللّه تعالى من غيبة ونميمة. المحافظة على الفرج من الوقوع في الحرام من زنا وفواحش.
Maintaining control of the tongue by not letting it loose with what does not please Allah the Exalted, such as backbiting and talebearing. Guarding the private parts from falling into what is forbidden, such as fornication and indecencies.
