عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَفْرَى الْفِرَى: أَنْ يُرِيَ الرَّجُلُ عَيْنَيْهِ مَا لَمْ تَرَيَا» رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most fabricated of fabrications is for a man to make his eyes see what they did not see." Reported by al-Bukhari.

"the most fabricated": the most mendacious. "al-fira": the plural of firyah, meaning a lie.
