عنْ أبي الدَّردَاءِ رضي اللَّه عَنْهُ قال: قالَ رسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «لا يكُونُ اللَّعَّانُون شُفعَاءَ، ولا شُهَدَاءَ يوْمَ القِيامَةِ» رواه مسلم.
Abu al-Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The frequent cursers will not be intercessors nor witnesses on the Day of Resurrection." Reported by Muslim.

شُفعاءَ: حينَ يَشفَعُ الصَّالحونَ لإِخوانِهمُ المؤمنينَ مِن أهلِ المَعاصي والذُّنوبِ. وَلا شُهداءَ: أي لا تُؤخَذُ مِنهمُ الشَّهادةُ عَلى الأُممِ بتَبليغِ رُسلِهم يَومَ القيامَةِ.
"intercessors (shufaa)": when the righteous intercede for their believing brethren among the people of sins and transgressions. "nor witnesses (shuhada)": that is, their testimony will not be taken concerning the [past] nations, attesting that their messengers conveyed the message, on the Day of Resurrection.

أنّ من يعتاد لعن الناس في الدنيا فاسق، لا تقبل شهادته ولا شفاعته يوم القيامة. أنّ من عدالة المؤمن ألّا يكون لعانًا.
Whoever habitually curses people in this world is a transgressor (fasiq) whose testimony and intercession will not be accepted on the Day of Resurrection. Part of the moral integrity (adalah) of the believer is that he not be a frequent curser.
