عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللّهِ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لا تَلاعَنُوا بِلَعْنَةِ اللّهِ، وَلا بِغَضَبِهِ، وَلا بِالنَّارِ» رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُودَ، وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالا: حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not curse one another with the curse of Allah, nor with His wrath, nor with the Hellfire." Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who both said: a hasan sahih hadith.
الشرح · explanation
لا تلاعنوا: أي لا يلعن بعضكم بعضًا.
"Do not curse one another": that is, let none of you curse another.
