عنْ عبدِ اللَّه بنِ عَمرو بن العاص رضي اللَّهُ عنْهُمَا قالَ: قال رسولُ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «مَنْ أحبَّ أن يُزَحْزحَ عن النَّارِ، ويُدْخَل الجنَّةَ، فلتَأتِهِ منِيَّتُهُ وهُوَ يُؤمِنُ باللهِ واليَوْمِ الآخِرِ، وَلْيَأتِ إلى النَّاسِ الذي يُحِبُّ أنْ يُؤْتَى إليْهِ» رواه مسلم. وهُو بعْضُ حَديثٍ طويلٍ سبقَ في باب طاعةِ وُلاةِ الأمُورِ.

Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to be removed away from the Fire and admitted into Paradise, let his death come to him while he believes in Allah and the Last Day, and let him treat people the way he would love to be treated." Reported by Muslim. It is part of a long hadith that preceded in the chapter on obedience to those in authority.
