عَن عَلِيّ رضي اللّه عنْهُ قَالَ: نَهَى رسُول اللّه صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم أنْ تحْلِقَ المَرأةُ رَأسَهَا. رواهُ النِّسائيّ.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a woman to shave her head. Reported by al-Nasa'i.

كراهة حلق المرأة شعر رأسها، لأنّه نوع من المثلة، وقيل حرام، وإن دعت الحاجة لحلقه كالتداوي مثلًا فهو جائز مطلقًا.
The dislike of a woman shaving the hair of her head, because it is a kind of mutilation; it is said to be forbidden. If there is a need to shave it, such as for medical treatment, then it is permitted absolutely.
