النهي عن تعليق الأجراس وما شابهها مما يحدث مثل صوتها حتى لا تفوت بركة حضور الملائكة، وخاصة تعليقها على وسائل الركوب في السفر من دابة وغيرها إذ المسافر أحوج ما يكون إلى صحبة الملائكة وبركتهم وحفظهم، وسبب الكراهة ونفور الملائكة أنّه آلة زمر يرغبه الشيطان ويأنس به ويستهوي الناس. على المسلم أن يحرص على صحبة الملائكة ويبتعد عن كل ما من شأنه إبعاد الملائكة عنه.

The prohibition of hanging bells and the like of what produces a sound resembling theirs, so that the blessing of the presence of the angels is not lost, especially hanging them upon the means of riding in travel, such as a mount and others, since the traveler is most in need of the company of the angels, their blessing, and their protection; and the reason for the dislike and the angels' aversion is that it is an instrument of piping which Satan favors, finds intimacy with, and by which he entices people. The Muslim should be keen upon the company of the angels and keep away from everything that would drive the angels away from him.
