عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا رَضِيَ اللّه عَنْهُ: أَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم عَنْ صَوْمِ الجُمُعَةِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. متفقٌ عليه.
Muhammad ibn Abbad reported: I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid fasting on Friday? He said: Yes. Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).
