عَنْ أبي سَعيدٍ الخُدْرِيِّ رضي اللّه عَنْهُ أنَّ النَّبي صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَالَ: «يَكُونُ خَلِيفَةٌ مِنْ خُلَفَائِكُمْ في آخِرِ الزَّمَان يَحْثُو المَالَ وَلا يَعُدُّهُ» رواه مسلم.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be a caliph among your caliphs at the end of time who will hand out wealth in handfuls without counting it." Reported by Muslim.
الشرح · explanation
يحثو: يعطي المال بكثرة. ولا يعده: أي لا يحصيه ولا يحسبه لكثرته.
"Hand out in handfuls": he gives out wealth abundantly. "Without counting it": that is, he does not tally or reckon it, because of its abundance.
