عَنْ أبي هُريْرةَ رضي اللّه عنْهُ أنَّ النبيّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَال: «لا يُلْدغُ المُؤمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ مرَّتَيْنِ» متفقٌ عليه.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A believer is not stung from the same hole twice." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).
الشرح · explanation
لا يلدغ: لا يلسع، والمراد لا يصاب. جحر: حفرة في الأرض، والمراد من مكان.
"Is not stung": that is, not bitten; the meaning is that he is not harmed. "A hole": a burrow in the ground; the meaning is from the same place.

وجوب الحذر والحيطة واليقظة لمن ناله الضرر من جهة أن يتجنّبها لئلّا يقع فيها ثانية. لا ينبغي للمؤمن أن يصاب من مكان مرتين لحذره وفطنته.
The obligation of caution, vigilance, and alertness for one who has been harmed from a certain quarter, so that he avoids it lest he fall into it a second time. It is not befitting for a believer to be harmed from the same place twice, given his caution and shrewdness.
