عَنْ أبي هُريْرةَ رضي اللّه عنْهُ، عَن النَّبيِّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَال: «عَجِبَ اللّه عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ في السَّلاسِلِ» رواه البُخاري.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) marvels at a people who enter Paradise in chains." Reported by al-Bukhari.
الشرح · explanation
معناها يؤسرون ويقيدون ثم يسلمون فيدخلون الجنة.
Its meaning: they are taken captive and bound, then they embrace Islam and so enter Paradise.

أنّ من وجوه أفضلية أصحاب الرسول وخيريتهم للناس أنّهم يأسرون الأسرى ويحملونهم ببيان محاسن الإسلام على الدخول فيه فيفضون إلى دخول الجنة، وذلك منتهى النعمة والفضل قال اللّه تعالى: فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ [سورة آل عمران ١٨٥].
That among the aspects of the superiority of the Companions of the Messenger and their goodness for people is that they take captives and, by expounding the virtues of Islam, bring them to enter it, which leads them to enter Paradise. That is the utmost of blessing and grace. Allah the Exalted said: "And whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has indeed succeeded" [Surah Al Imran: 185].
