Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels were created from light, the jinn were created from a smokeless flame of fire, and Adam was created from what has been described to you." Reported by Muslim.

An explanation of the origin of each of the world of the angels, the world of the jinn, and the world of humankind. A demonstration of the power of Allah the Exalted in His creation, that He creates whatever He wills from whatever He wills—His is the majesty and grandeur—and that He is capable of all things, doing whatever He wills. So one must believe in everything the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has reported.
