عَنْ أبي هُريْرَةَ رضي اللّه عنْهُ قَال: أخَذَ رَسُولُ اللّه صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم بِيَدِي فَقَالَ: «خَلَقَ اللّه التُّرْبَةَ يوْمَ السَّبْتِ، وخَلَقَ فِيهَا الْجِبَالَ يَوْمَ الأحَد، وخَلَقَ الشَّجَرَ يَوْمَ الاثْنَيْنِ، وَخَلَقَ المَكْرُوهَ يَوْمَ الثُّلاثَاءِ، وَخَلَقَ النُّورَ يَوْمَ الأرْبَعَاءِ، وَبَثَّ فِيهَا الدَّوَابَّ يَوْمَ الخَمِيسِ، وخَلَقَ آدَمَ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ مِنْ يَوم الجُمُعَةِ في آخِرِ الْخَلْقِ في آخِرِ سَاعَةٍ مِنَ النَّهَارِ فِيمَا بَيْنَ الْعَصْرِ إلى الَّليلِ». رواه مسلم.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took me by the hand and said: "Allah created the soil on Saturday, and He created the mountains in it on Sunday, and He created the trees on Monday, and He created what is disliked on Tuesday, and He created light on Wednesday, and He spread the animals therein on Thursday, and He created Adam (peace and blessings be upon him) after the Asr on Friday, in the last part of creation, in the last hour of the day, between Asr and night." Reported by Muslim.
