عنْ جَابِرٍ رضِي اللّه عنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رسُولُ اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم: «يَأْكُلُ أَهْلُ الجنَّةِ فِيهَا ويشْرَبُونَ، ولا يَتَغَوَّطُونَ، ولا يمْتَخِطُونَ، ولا يبُولُونَ، ولكِنْ طَعامُهُمْ ذلكَ جُشَاء كَرشْحِ المِسْكِ يُلهَمُونَ التَّسبِيح وَالتكْبِير، كَما يُلْهَمُونَ النَّفَسَ» رواه مسلم.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The people of Paradise will eat and drink therein, but they will not defecate, nor blow their noses, nor urinate. Rather, their food will [pass off as] a belch as fragrant as musk. They will be inspired to glorify and magnify Allah as [readily] as they are inspired to breathe." Reported by Muslim.
الشرح · explanation
لا يتغوطون: من الأكل. لا يمتخطون: لا يسيل شيء من أنوفهم. جشاء: أي يخرج منهم بالتجشي وهو تنفس المعدة من غير رائحة كريهة. كرشح المسك: أي يرشح من أجسامهم رشحًا طيب الرائحة كريح المسك. كما يلهمون النفس: أي يأتون بالذكر من غير تكلّف وذلك كتنفسهم في غير أيّ تكلّف.
"They will not defecate": from the food. "Nor blow their noses": nothing will flow from their noses. "A belch": that is, it will come out of them as a belch, which is the stomach's release of air, without any foul odor. "As fragrant as musk": that is, it exudes from their bodies as a sweet-smelling perspiration like the scent of musk. "As they are inspired to breathe": that is, they produce the remembrance [of Allah] without any effort, just as they breathe without any effort.

بيان أحوال أهل الجنّة وما أعدّ اللّه لهم فيها من النعيم المقيم والحياة الأبديّة الكاملة. طعام أهل الجنّة في غاية اللطافة والاعتدال وليس لها فضلة تستقذر، بل يتولد عنها أطيب ريح وأحسنه. تلذذ أهل الجنّة بذكر اللّه تعالى وجريانه على لسانهم كجريان النفس في أبدانهم.
An exposition of the states of the people of Paradise and the everlasting bliss and complete, eternal life that Allah has prepared for them therein. The food of the people of Paradise is of the utmost refinement and balance, having no waste that would be deemed foul; rather, from it is generated the most fragrant and finest of scents. The people of Paradise delight in the remembrance of Allah the Exalted, and it flows upon their tongues as [naturally as] breath flows in their bodies.
