عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رضِيَ اللّه عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَال: «إِنَّ في الْجنَّةِ لَشَجرَةً يسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ الْجوادَ المُضَمَّرَ السَّرِيعَ ماِئَةَ سنَةٍ مَا يَقْطَعُهَا» متفقٌ عليه. وَرَوَياهُ في الصَّحِيحَيْنِ أَيْضًا مِنْ روَايَةِ أَبِي هُريْرَةَ رَضِي اللّه عنه قالَ: «يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ في ظِلِّهَا ماِئَةَ سَنَةٍ مَا يَقْطَعُهَا».
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, in Paradise there is a tree; a rider on a swift, well-trained horse would travel for a hundred years and not traverse it." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim). They both also reported it in the two Sahihs from the narration of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: "A rider would travel in its shade for a hundred years and not traverse it."

الجَواد: الفرس. المضمر: وصف للفرس إذا قوي على الجري.
"The swift [horse]": the horse. "The well-trained": a description of the horse when it is made fit and strong for running.

بيان عظم أشجار الجنّة مما يدل على قدرة اللّه تعالى وعظيم فضله على عباده بأن دعاهم إلى عبادته وطاعته في الدنيا ليعيشوا سعداء فيها، ويثيبهم في أخراهم بالجنّة يتنعمون بما فيها من نعيم وأشجار وظل ظليل، فله الحمد والمنّة والفضل.
An exposition of the enormity of the trees of Paradise, which indicates the power of Allah the Exalted and His immense favor upon His servants, in that He called them to His worship and obedience in this world so that they might live happily in it, and He rewards them in their Hereafter with Paradise, wherein they enjoy its bliss, trees, and extended shade. To Him belong all praise, grace, and favor.
