عنْ أَبي هُريْرةَ رضِي اللّه عنْهُ أَنَّ رسُول اللّهِ صَلّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم قَال: «لَقَابُ قَوْسٍ في الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا تَطْلُعُ علَيْهِ الشمْسُ أَوْ تَغْربُ» متفقٌ عليهِ.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A space the length of a bow in Paradise is better than all that upon which the sun rises or sets." Agreed upon (al-Bukhari and Muslim).
الشرح · explanation
لقاب قوس: أي قدر ما بين المقبض في الوسط وطرف القوس، ولكل قوس قابان.
"A space the length of a bow": that is, the measure between the grip in the middle and the tip of the bow; every bow has two such lengths.

An exposition of the merit of Paradise, and that a small space in it is better than all that the sun rises or sets upon in this world; that is because Paradise is enduring and everlasting, while this world is perishing and passing away.
